True. I ever ran the ORE with the JDK 1.2 on Linux, but no JDK 1.2
feature was not used.

Yes, you need to add the ORE ANTS service into the startup property file
(start.properties). Have a look at those READMEs within the ORE ANTS
package. Please note that the "host" part runs with the JDK without the
ORE.
